The Alabama Domestic Violence Resource app was created by Debra Sanders Clark and Christine Hernandez, a Mobile, Alabama Attorney. The two met while taking Mediation Training courses instructed by Troy Smith and Sally Bowers, both Attorneys as well. Clark and Hernandez discussed the need for unified resources for domestic abused victims and decided to create an app.

The purpose of this guide is to make information and resources related to domestic violence easily accessible for victims should the need arise.
